What are the odds of 4 persons using the same driver and playing together in one flight???
Well, this happened to me in Horizon Hills where all four of us were using the Callaway Razr Fit Driver.
All four singing praises of this driver. Long and forgiving.
The new Razr Fit Extreme is out soon, that means that this older model will be selling at a knockdown price soon. Be sure to grab it and enjoy the long long far far straight straight drives

The longest drive belonged to a 50+ year old single hdcper in the flight. Smooth swinger who consistently hits the ball on the sweet spot. Carry distance 220m at least.

Can't comment on the average distance of the driver. It all depends on the person using the club. But for me, this driver is the longest driver I own. I get about 200m carry with a lot of roll. Total distance about 230m.

Just love it. I wonder how the new Razr Fit Extreme will perform......

i think since callaway introduced the raxr family, they made real justice to it compared to the diablo family..the raxr x black driver is nice to hit, the irons are good and the hybrids are awesome too..

Have the small brother of the Razr Fit, the 3 FW.

Can someone tell me, using the wrench to tighten the screw at the hosel, does this 'click' when the torque reached the right amount ?

Heard TM and Nike do, but not sure about Callaway, mistakes could be costly...

Thanks,

Is that a sweat stain in your pants or are you just happy to use the driver? Wink

Sorry, jez kidding, no offence. Seems like great fun. Since the arrows were the same (ignoring the shafts), it was a fair test of the indian's skills.

Hi Lee,
I have used a lot of drivers and this is by far the best one! The head is extremely forgiving and long.

I experimented with different shafts but the forgiveness is always there. The difference between the shafts were different launch heights and the amount of vibration on off center hits.

With the stock regular shaft, nice piercing tragectory but a lot of vibration on off center contacts. Shorter carry distance but tons of roll.

With aftermarket Xcaliber SL stiff shaft, ball flight is higher with a more solid feel on off center hits. Longer carry.

So i can now customize my shaft usage based on the course characteristics.

This driver is staying in my bag for a long time. I dont even want to try the newer Razr Fit Extreme.

Oo! Any idea on how much the new Extreme will retail? I think the Razr Fit now retails for RM900+ if I am not mistaken.

usa spec maybe around rm1500-1800, my guestimate...

Very happy you found a driver you like that fits you.

Just wanted to gloat a little...

A friend was kind enough to let me try his Tour AD BB 5s shaft.

I must say that this shaft married to my Razr Fit is a match made in heaven!

Average distance increased by 10m easily!
Trajectory is higher than my usual low "stingers" meaning more carry for me.
Dispersion is also tighter.

Now to make sure my approaches do the tee offs justice.
