I can't really say 'usually'. I've been there only once so far. Just that I like the place and I think it suits me and my boy. If we're there, then I think we'll arrive latest 9pm.

He's now down with fever, so no golf for a few days. But he's been chipping in the house with the soft training balls. Hahahaha.

managed to record two new videos of my son.

Wanted to record the videos of him chipping into the green but have not taken him to the green for almost a month already due to me bz + raining + him fever + me fever.

Managed to record Ekil chipping the last ball of the nite and him chipping 2nd, 3rd and forth last ball of the nite.

We've moved to Mines for swinging due to closer to home. Still have lotsa Sunway voucher not used. must finish those up also.

For those who have been following his progress, you could see that he's now able to close the gaps between his hand, a progress that i'm happy at.

Thanx to Steven Guiliano for advising us not to switch to interlocking yet. We follow that advice.

Power! Can PERMATA help in some sort. I think your son should get some encouragement by gomen, talented kid like this hard to come by. Don't leave it all to Kak Mah..

Watched PGATour.com and found Rory McIlroy's swing when he was 3. So based on the video, the moral is accept how u naturally swings eh.

rory has been one of my son's favourite, the first pro he ever recognized. his other favourites are:

1) Ben Crane - because the Golf Boys video
2) Bubba Watson - because bubba raises his front feet during back swing, similar to Ekil, and because of Golf Boys
3) Tiger Woods - Because of the TIger Woods iPAD game and Because of the Nike logo. Actually he associates the Nike logo to Tiger Woods.
4) Phil Mickelson - because i have phil mickelson instruction video.
5) Rickie Fowler - because of his colors and the Golf Boys, and there's big wall poster of Rickie beside Rory at MST.

He do not know Lee Westwood but he recognize Westwood's wood shaft.

took new videos last nite. somehow, i deleted it. haiya... user problem betul.

Managed to recover all the videos. It thought i have to root the phone to do it, but luckily there's Dropbox. Good application i must say.

We went last nite to the MINES, our new practice place to let him hit a few balls and i managed to get some videos also.

Below is the video of him hitting the iron from the Down the Line view. I have managed to get him to close the gaps between his hands on all clubs now. also, he no longer bends too low. i dont mind the choking of the club cuz he's still shorter than the recommended height. In this video he carries 50 yards. But i have seen him carry 50m and roll to 70m too. just could get the video

However, yesterday he's been pulling a lot of shots. i couldnt get him to setup properly over the ball. Yesterday, he always put the ball towards his left leg, in fact outside his left leg. We need to work this out now. So here is his video of him pulling his drives. But some did carry more than 50 yrds.

In this last video, he wanted to copy the guy next to his bay's tempo and swing speed. of cuz he cant and i use this video to show him that's what happen when u try to copy other peoples tempo

Another 2 new videos. Both on chipping. This is how he practices chipping inside the house. I stick a CD as the target and he tries to hit it. Another way is asking him to chip onto the dining table when there's nothing on the table.

one month passed since i last update or post a video. Over the last one month, he's iron shot has been better. Better contact, better rate of good contact, and better finishing.

he has also met a few new people. All of whom, he mention as his friend, though they are 40+ yrs old. hahahha.

we are now looking at him to hold the finishing pose a bit longer. when we achieve that, i'll post another video on that.
