Ivan, I can't be your Proxy as Article 26.7.1 of the Club's Constitution only allows members present in person to cast their votes. Not by Proxy, also note that there isn't any Proxy Forms that were despatched with the recent EGM Notice.

That is WHY the EGM is held on that particular day as alot of us will either be away on holiday as the following day is a Public Holiday, or busy watching Tiger Woods at the Mines! Now, that is a dead giveaway of the ill-intentions of the GC and the fishy agendas of the EGM.

That is why I mentioned that your presence is very much needed on that day.

hmm, looks like there may be an entire new GC coming in soon.
Wish some of my frens will get into it.

Ivan & ST, and any other KRPM Members here in MyGolf. Please make a point to go no matter how busy you are, for the 28th EGM as the fate of the Club lies in your presence and your hands/votes. If we are not careful with our votes, we may end up loosing our Club forever. I'll definitely be there to vote against the first 3 proposed resolutions even if I have to skip having to see Tiger Woods in person on that day.

If you do a check on the value of the Club, it is worth much more than the RM50k offered by one of the so-called petitioned purchaser. I did a rough computation, its worth almost close to RM150k per member in the event if everything is sold since ours is a Members' Club and the assets and land are freehold and unencumbered. So, do not sell yourselves short by agreeing to the first 3 resolutions.

Tell all your friends and golfing buddies who are members of KRPM and spread the word around, and ask them to attend the meeting as well. Check your emails messages if you are in the "KRP Friends" group email circular. You can get alot of insights there, or else you can send me a PM if you are not sure of the issues involved.

Rgds,
hklam

Just hope that the active members (1000+) attendance is greater than those inactive one.....they need 3/5 of votes from the 4500 members to agreeto sell the club... Sad

One of the walking members told me he signed a petition to remove the whole GC - why no mention or news on this - just only the proposal to sell?
Understand the majority of those walkers on the 3rd and 4th Nine are against any sale of any kind whatsoever unless a fair price like 150K refund to each member as mentioned.

normally such a petition will be a request to the GC for an EGM to be held with the resolutions for the removal of the GC and for the election of a new GC.
The petition must be made (signed) by a minimum no. of members under the club by-laws to constitute a valid members' requisition.

i think the coming EGM ON THE PROPOSED LAND SALE is called by and on the initiatives of the present GC.

The members' requested EGM may still be garnering supporters' signatures and may be held at another date to be set by the GC upon its receipt of the valid request.

Dear Golfers,

I am looking to travel to KL Quite often but mostly near the KLCC Area and my schedule allows me to be able to play golf on Friday and Sat Morning.

What are the golfing rates for Friday and Saturday Morning for this course ?

Also, any update on the condition ?

Thank you.

Presumed you were asking about playing on the course.
Not the driving range - it has been closed for over a month already.
If playing - there's 2 18's - main championship course Lakes and the other 18, Hills.
Nowadays last minute I still can get slot for Sunday afternoon - last time by Monday all fully booked.
