Harimau reporting, 22nd July 2008 - Era Golf & Country Resort is a new golf course located in Bahau, Negeri Sembilan. Officially open for business about 2 years ago, Era Golf is built on a 600 acres land and designed by Mr Bobby Lim. The resort have got swimming pool, basketball court, tennis courts, gym, etc is suitable for a family outing as well. The owner of this golf course owns Era Hotel which is located about 6 km away from the golf course. There will be a special promotion for those who wants to plan a holiday trip there. The rate for a golf & stay package is about RM200, 2 rounds of 18 holes+buggy+insurance and a night stay at Era hotel, which i would give a rating of 3 star (golf channel available, and best available hotel in the small district).

Back to the golf course, it is a 5 star golf course, one of Bobby Lim's best, measures at 6000++ meter from the blue tee. Bermuda are used on the fairways as for the greens, i have forgotten what grass is used, but it is fast and smooth.

As for direction towards the golf course, it is extremely easy. Just take the Seremban highway and exit at the Senawang exit. Follow the Kuala Pilah signage, and when you reach Kuala Pilah, you will be able to see Era Golf signage. If you don't, better ask around for direction. Overall, it took me about 165km drive to reach Era Golf, duration about 2 hours.

Here are some of the photos that i have snap during the visit:

Scenery-8/10
Greens-7/10 (2 greens with patches of diseases due to raining season)
caddy- none
fairways- 8/10
buggy- 9/10 (brand new buggies)
ponds- 9/10 (with beautiful fishes in it)
rtg- yes Very Happy

Hey Harimau

Great job to upload a video of the golf course here, got music to enjoy some more Wink Nice improvement huh !!! Video quality is also very good. Images are not shaky which is pleasant to watch. Nice preview overall Smile

All outing kakis to this course on the 23rd August will have a better idea on which holes they can "cari makan" now Razz

The course looked neat and pleasant to play. Not really a commando course. Hope everyone will enjoy playing here.

Happy golfing at Era Smile

Waw.. the video introduction is really nice... much much more tempting now... a lot of obstacles... lake + trees + bushes + undulating layout.... reminding me of Victoria Golf Club at Sri Lanka....(except the lake)...

happy golfing Cool

Due to weekend a bit higher as both games are weekend rates.
Single Room stay + 2 rounds (all-in - no caddy) 266
Twin share + 2 rounds (all-in no caddy) 226
At the moment since we are 3 will have to share the buggy sucharge which is 30 per buggy so x 2 rounds we have to fork out another 20 each.

We are going in one car so share petrol and toll.

Thanks for the local info.
I also agree SIGC greens are now in great shape as they just hallow thinned before Hari Raya so by now should be perfect as they are also quite soft now and can hold the ball not like years ago and yet the speed can be quite fast too if they cut it.
Pity is one from my group is quite particular on rates and once heard that SIGC on weekends will be 100+ - refuse to consider.
How is Paradise Valley - have not been back since our last game - we can arrange one there soon.

Ok will do.
Except you quite difficult to book nowadays have to book well in advance.
Weekday or weekend?
They open only from Thurs to Sun.
I gave the vouchers away - can still take back if not used yet as you can use it while I have AGSSLINKS.
The Mambau Yong Tau Foo outside the Golf Course is really good.
