25th May 2010: Transview with its partners AGS, Firefly and Mygolf.com.my has unveiled THE PREFERRED GOLF CARD at a soft launch in Impian Golf & Country Club. The which card was introduced to the press and participants of the Fourteen Classic tournament, is set to bring in a dawn of a new era in loyalty card market. Unlike most loyalty cards where point collection and discounts are a norm, The Preferred Golf Card will offer a host of benefits for its bearer unlike most cards that is out in the market now.
The Preferred Golf Card will allow members to enjoy subsidise rates for green fees at most of the golf courses in the country, with the help of AGS. It will also offer 50% off golf bag charges when you fly with Firefly, whilst also offering special discounted rates for golfing vacations courtesy of Firefly. The card will also provide golfers with an in-house handicap tracking system via the Mygolf.com.my portal, mainly for homeless golfers, the handicap tracking system will be used solely for tournaments organised by the partners of the Golf Card. Apart from that, Golf Card members will enjoy special member’s prices at all Transview outlets nationwide. There will also be a point’s collection system for members to redeem gifts from Transview.
When asked about the reason behind this partnership, Frankie Choo pointed out that its part of the Transview group initiative to give back to its loyal customers as a normal point’s collection card just won’t do. “We have been working on this project for some time now, we are very happy that it has come to fruition” he added. “We see this card as great opportunity to reach out to the golfers and introduce them to the advantages of flying with Firefly” chipped in Muizzudin Mahmud, Head of Sales, Firefly. There will be more goodies for golfers who sign up with the card in the future as more benefits will be introduce in time to come chimed Loo Su Chong from AGS.
The Preferred Golf Card can be attained at any Transview outlet nationwide, AGS authorised personnel, MyGolf.com.my website and at any Firefly point of sale points.
