How much is the green fee for Bukit Utama golf course, administrator?. Its very near my house and maybe once my game improves, I can go there to have a round of golf. Has anyone played there before which can give me guidance

if I'm not mistaken...it's RM50 for 9 holes...

That makes this course very expensive to play in

Honestly, this is a crap course...don't waste your time

I think it's cheap before 4:30. After that it becomes costly. Play it for it's location and nothing else.

It's a good course for short game if time not on your side considering the location.

But 1 thing really turns me off is their reception counter.
Why on earth they place the counter right in front of the toilet?
It looks like a public toilet with collection counter.
Can't they built a proper reception counter? It doesn't has to be grand, but at least a proper one, or separate out from the toilet.

i agree with harrington...their reception really look like a public toilet... moreover their temporary club house..is it really temporary one...how long it been there already?

The food and beverages charges quite standard. The 'Shang Har Mee' quite tasty also. Compliment from me...lol

Charges for 18 holes on weekend is RM93 meanwhile 9 holes is RM53...definitely including buggy. Overall the fairway way and green are moderate.

This course is easier for me compare to Bukit Tinggi...i only been two golf courses only...hehe...less water hazard and bunker and if you always tee off not in straight motion... then chances you lost a ball is high in Hole No. 7...it a down slope hill tee off about 162m.

Pros:
Location, night golf, tight fairways

Cons:
Price, greens, facilities

Bukit Utama gave my golfing buddies and me some really great time. I know it's not exactly the best course but the fact that we started out playing at Bukit Utama, it really calls for us to respect it as our starting ground.

Tight fairways (unless you prefer to tee off using an iron or fairway wood) are the highlight here. I think it has earned itself the title "Commando Course" simply because you just go there and play and nothing much else. Not much scenery since its surrounded by apartments and construction site.

Last I heard they are building the clubhouse in the middle along with a condo (probably one of those housing area with a "golf course").

What I do like about Bukit Utama is the fact that last tee off is 815pm. So after work you can still go there and play a relaxing game with your sporting golf buddies. At BU, it's either you're on the fairway or you are out. There is virtually no rough whatsoever and the greens I admit are very slow and they should do something about it.

Great place to also get your supply of balls from the squatters although sometimes they can scare you since they appear out of no where.

Got for practice but not for proper game.

weekend green fee for 9 hole is RM53 per person for 9 holes
additional RM40 for 18 holes

i think this place is quite crowded on weekends...
perhaps you should go on weekdays, RM38 for 9 holes and less crowd

I don't think they have membership program.
You should visit that place first of all, then you'll come to my assumption.

I agree with what Harrington said. Look at their counter and the surrounding. They are not really a club, more to like a recreational park.

But I do play there once in a while, location, location and location.
That's the only reason.

I just had a game today (Sunday 20Apr) at Bukit Utama. Very Happy
The retaining wall at Hole7 had given way and now is an awful state and threatening golfer. Be careful there!!!

Location and walk-in (i.e no reservation) allowed are two great advantages.
Rates on Sunday before 1pm are RM40 (9hole green fees) + RM20 (buggy twin-share) and insurance RM3 => RM53. After 1pm, green fee is at RM25. Smile

Played there last weekend, for me it's challenging enough...even with the almost absence of bunkers.

While we were at hole 7 they were working on it, didn't realised it just collapsed!
