One of my favorites...

Tough fairways...fast tricky greens...I love this course...

Unfortunately, it's too expensive to play here often...

Never played here before but watched Lee Westwood, Darren Clarke, Michael Campbell, T. Jaidee, T.Bjorn, L. Wen Chong and others play here in the Malaysian open. They struggled so I would imagine I would too.

Over @ the Palm Course, the greens are tough...very tough in fact...possibly the most difficult greens in Msia
If you are not on top of your game, you gonna struggle...
Holes #2, #4, #5, #8, #11, #12, #13, #15, #17...I love these holes

Hey guys, beware of the monkeys when you golf there. There was once, my handbag which was placed at the buggy was taken away by the monkey while I was doing my putting. That was a frightful experience indeed !!! The monkey took my bag and climbed up the trees near the fence. In the end, I had to throw a stone at him in order for him to release the bag. Come to think of it, I was so so lucky to get back my handbag...imagine all my mobile phone, ic and driving licence plus the betting $$$ are inside there Razz

Yes, the greens at Saujana are fast and undulating. Some took me 4 putts to complete the hole when I could hit 2 strokes onto the green. Struggling to play there!

Anyway, hope you guys enjoy Saujana and to find out yourself why it is rated one of the most difficult course in Malaysia.

i call it a thinking course cos you need to think of how to tackle the fairway...then need to think how to tackle the green.....lots of 3 putt zones...ever putt 45deg away from the cut from 3ft?...hehe

Someone in the family has a membership at Saujana GCC which is currently leased to a businessman. The lease will expire mid-March 2012 and therefore will be available therefrom for annual lease.

This is one of the premier golf clubs in the Klang Valley and I believe needs no introduction. I'll simply point you to Saujana Golf & Country Clubs's very informative official website

Who might be interested in taking up this lease?

1) expatriate executives, possibly in senior positions, on assignment in or re-location to Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya or other parts of the Klang Valley for at least a year.

2) anyone who is looking to develop relationships with prominent business figures.

3) anyone who is considering buying a membership but wants to "try out" the club for a year.

If you are interested or know of anyone who is interested, please contact KC at saujanagolf4lease@gmail.com for further details. You can also PM me here.

Thanks.

World's 10 toughest golf courses and number 6 is:

6. Palm Course, Saujana Golf Club, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (according to CNN GO 14 June 2012)

If the low sun blinds you, don't complain, at least you have an excuse for that terrible shot.
The Palm Course at Saujana is so tough it's been nicknamed "The Cobra" and its fangs have tested many of the world's top golfers as it's hosted six of the last 13 Malaysian Opens, a co-sanctioned European/Asian Tour event.

Past winners include former world number one Vijay Singh. With jungle lining many fairways, and water and sand hazards in abundance, just getting to the green is a struggle.

But that's when the real problems start because The Cobra's super fast, heavily undulating putting surfaces are probably the hardest to putt on in the world, including those at Augusta. Only great putters win at Saujana.

glad to know saujana made the list .
but i will not place much credence on this publication. this is the same publication that says KL is better than HK Spore and Bangkok for shopping. KL was rated 4th in the world, HK 6th whereas Spore n Bangkok never made the list. 555
