anywhere i can post picture of the golf course.. I played here about 5 times and going again mid of Jan 08.. Its a championship course . It looks easy to attack but greenside rough eats your balls. Nice scenery though..

me and my friends plan to play golf here in this coming march, but i found that the green fees quite expensive compared here in Johor. Anybody have some good idea how to get a reasonable rate for this golf course. Thanks.. Cool

I just got back from KK.

You can play for RM160 on weekday, RM180 on weekend. Caddie is optional.

Hi there,

This is my late report on this two GC. I was there somewhere in mid April.

Borneo GC in Bongawan, a very good golf course even it was a heavy down pour. U can still play at the best condition on fairway and green as the drainage system is superb. Everything is fine xcept the pro shop is to small, nothing much u can buy for a souvenir.

Karambunai - great name but doesn't means good. A ehort course unless u play at Black T Box. May be my visit not at the right time, almost all the green at that time was under repair and it spoilt our mood.

I wish some recommendation on any other GC in KK for my next visit.

Thanks...

Looking at the Course Rating of 68.6 from Blue tee box. We tought it is an easy course but if you play with winds all over the place, it is tough to play.

You can see your balls somehow unable to beat the hard winds. Sometime you have to use extra 3 clubs to beat the wind. Not that happy on that note. Even when you want to putt, the winds will suddenly blow very hard.

The fairways are good. So with the greens with consistence speed. They are using portable GPS as the scorecard and to assist you in determining the distance to the green. Weekdays promotion RM190 per pax with lunch.

Perhaps, my visit to Karambunai is not at its best season since the winds and heavy downpour in KK.

not necessary to join golf club to obtain your handicap. If u intend to play regularly, then joining a golf club is a good move or u can join many golf card that available in the market now. By the way, are u base in KK? If yes, joining a golf club could be better. Playing as a non member in KK area is expensive during week end.

yes cmchai..i am based at KK....

yeah...tell me about it....golf in KK is really expensive...membership at Ranau, Kudat or Keningau are cheap, but really far from KK...so really pondering on Nexus Discount Card or Annual members at Dalit..... Sutera, KGC or SGCC is really out for me...
