Been absent at this course for more than 6 months, played 18 holes on 16th Aug 2009.

Fairway in general has improved.

Green is better quality - 6/10 (slower), except Hole # 4 (par 5) - temporary green - Green Proper is under construction and should be ready in less than 2 months time.

Wild Boar is damaging the fairway of Hole # 4 and # 5.

Very challenging course!

Happy Golfing

Weekend Pro Sifu Puppy.. if i were available on 2010, would like to join you for the "challenge" and learn a few "swings" from Sifu to improve my game...

You are right Hole # 8, the pond in front is a serious psycho... which consequently stimulate our mind "have to hit harder with the driver" - once this is done to the mind...
1. Cangkuk ... hitting the ground instead of the ball..
2. Top ... and donating the ball into the pond.
3. Hitting so fast and draw the ball so left ended in the bushes on the left side of the fairway.
4. Didnt follow thru as eager to see whether the ball manage to cross the pond - slice the ball and the ball turn right - finally still donate to the pond...
these happened to me...

Hole # 9 - always lost ball during tee-off - no further complaint as this is Index 1...

hahahaha.. sure i can pick up a few tips from Sifu how to handle these 2 holes...

i played here also last year. super nice, but with my stupid game, doesnt make a difference also Smile

very nice course to play in. very relaxing with all the lakes around....

also, the driving range uses floating golf balls, and the range is a lake. you just whack your balls into the lake, and see it bomb in the water

Played here on 14/12/12. Fairway was ok but the green was horrible - all of them. Heard they're revamping the greens. But the price for walk in golfer was rm125 per pax. Totally not worth it. Luckily i only paid for buggy.

I played at CWS yesterday (29 May), the course is fabulous & very scenic! Fairway is 7/10 with green is friendly for putting. There are not many pond to carry except for a PAR 3 & some PAR 4/5 with small stream in front. Golf counter girl is friendly & given us the CWS course guideline booklet after we commented in the First-Timer Guest Book. Unfortunately the beauty couldn't score its perfect points with the poor service at the Golf Terrace, there is only one table (with only 2 of us in the Golf Terrace) and it takes them >30 minutes to serve us the drinks, and later another 5~10 minutes for the food. BAD SERVICE!!
