i played there in march in the sportexcel junior tourney, the greens there are surprisingly good compared to the fairways. its very far away from anywhere. clubhouse is quite bad and small.. food there is expensive while not good.. the 16th par 3 is the best.

Looking for kakis or club members to play there on weekend.Pls PM me if you want additional balls.My son is schooling at Batu Kikir,Bahau at least I could visit him whilst golfing nearby there

If true then is a real pity - played quite a bit there many years ago.
Last visit - there was no water to shower and look real run down already.

Just came back from Sri Menanti yesterday.
Went to the counter to register my flight, it is currently RM70 per pax. I have confirmed with them that the course is not closing, but it has turned into a public course.

We know this course is not the standard as Lembah Beringin or Seri Selangor. But as beginners we normally don't complain. But SOMEHOW, this is too much. Here goes:

1st frustration - I was the first to tee up; then the trouble starts. I have to lay down my driver, use both hands, to push the tee to the ground. Apparently not enough, I had to use a rock nearby to slam it in. When I was done, SOMEHOW, thank goodness I swung my driver so easy that it went straight down the fairway. Through the entire 18, there were only 1 tee box which was easier to tee up.

2nd frustration - comes from hole 5,6,8,10,11,12,13,14,15, 16 AND 17. They have GUR everywhere beside the GREEN!!!

3rd frustration - During putting, we could see our balls rolling like some sort of RALLY race cars through the green.

We finished up and left with lots of disappointments. I'd guess that we will never return anytime soon unless they do something about it.

Playing here this weekend.. Got invite from a member.. Any updates on this course??? Appreciate it!

Planning to organise a small tournament with friends before Ramadhan. I would appreciate some review about course condition and facilities. /

The last we played last year - conditions were not that good already.
Members/staff were telling us that they were planning a major overhaul of the course condition by middle of this year so not sure what is the condition now.
Only thing is that usually this is not a very busy course even on weekends so you can have freedom of the course.
Just played Beringin Golf Club - if expectations not that high can consider this one as distance may be nearer to KL, course condition is fair (buggy on course) - greens patchy in places and also bumpy if you are not on the right line but otherwise playable.

played last weekend the green is greener now and smoother (worst last time)
overall is a tight course narrow fairway golf management is important,hard ground rough grass
if u r a straight hitter no problem if not pls bring more balls
