Used to be good for short game practice. After awhile with no maintenance became pretty bad. I don't know how it is now.

nice to train your shortgame, longest hole is 120 m, rest of the holes are quite challenging when you consider teeing off for 50m

just play it on...as once you're on the green, it's more of luck after that

whats the rate for Walk-in ? 9 holes or 18 ?

I believe it's RM40 for 18 holes on WE. Good short game practice, but putting greens terrible lah..Easy to find location just next of the Bukit Jelutong exit via Elite HW.

I wonder if anybody went there recently? Am thinking of going there to lose my 'course virginity'

Josh,

If you want your 'deflowering' to be a good memory. Yes, this place will make you come back for more.

It has all the challenging elements of a real course, but in 'mickey Mouse' portions. Even on a hot afternoon, a slow two hours, sans trolley, wont wear you down. Just a bit of cheek tan.

Remember to bring protection. I mean sun tan lotion. Dirty fellas!

Don't be shy and remember to relax and enjoy Very Happy

Josh,

First tee is 7.15am

IIRC, hole 4 or 5, by the time you tee from this hole, you'll have the sun right in your eyes and if you are able to place the ball as you intended, its a good feeling - beating one of the challenges - the Sun, that is. This is a fun hole, and the succeeding one too. Well, I wont tell you much. Let it tease you.

Pray tell your 'first' nite/day.

Cheers!
AccG.

I played this 9-hole this morning to kill tie...and came away sorely disappointed...

Good points:

1. Good for practicing club selection and course management. The layout really makes you think and teaches you not to take out the driver at every opportunity. Like Bandar Utama, this course is tight and teaches you that accuracy is more important than distance.

2. Short (par=33) and can easily be completed in under 2 hours.

3. Not congested. You don't have to worry about guys behind you as there's hardly anybody.

Bad points:

1. Maintenance is non-existent. Sure, there are people 'working' but the bunker is overgrown with grass and the fairway is water-logged.

2. Drainage is the worst I've seen. This morning, the course is like 'sawah padi', resulting in many lost balls (plugged). If i'd known it was that bad, I'd have gone to BU instead.

3. Staff has no common sense. As I was about to take my approach shot on the 9th, the mower on the green didn't stop mowing even after I had indicated to him that I was about to hit and, worse, had taken out the pin. Fortunately my ball didn't hit him. When I was about to putt, he didn't even switch off the mower.

4. Signange is a tad confusing. The course can be converted from an 18-hole pitch and putt course to a 9-hole par-33 course. I had a hard time determining the location of the fairways and greens as I stood on the tee-box.

Overall, this morning's round left a bitter taste in the mouth. More than once I lost balls which clearly landed on the fairway. I'd advise everyone to stay away from this course untill the rainy season is over. Then perhaps the course won't be so soft and muddy and I won't lost balls on the fairway.

Interesting distance but very dangerous. If someone uses a club too long, it would probably hit someone. Greens are terrible too.

My rating : 5/10

Good for short game practice....Especially hitting frm bad lies.... Usually I'll hit it short, let it land in the 'deep' 'flooded' rough... Hopefully to recover the ball for 2nd shot practice from deep plug ball... Laughing U'll be dirty Cool ... Dun usually putt there.... Great for wedge distance control....

This is the worst course i've played on....very muddy on some holes, some sand pit overgrown with grass and the distances displayed on the boards are wrong. Greens are inconsistent, putt and hope for the best.
