The first nine was in good condition, as mentioned in earlier posts some tee boxes were in weird positions. Short first nine but with plenty of character. Second nine was in bad condition and boy, was it long!!!

The clubhouse is pretty ok, food is quite limited beyond your normal nasi goreng/mee goreng.

Showers were great.

To sum up, just remember you are paying RM35 for unlimited golf, and all will be fine.

Try 0333718611 played there more than 10 years ago nobody knew got golf course.
Back then bring your own towels and shower room felt haunted.

there is no buggy at pulau carey ... its a walking course.... you can bring your own trolley or you can rent at RM 5 the club is very basic with just drinks being sold only. i would suggest after playing in the evening there are good seafood restaurants located at the road entrance of the golf course. from the entrance to the golf course will take another 10 km drive.

Weekend rate has been increased to rm50 (maybe due to the easy access thru SKVE )

Went to play there on 15 Sep. Its a nice course but the greens were not as well kept as expected. Part of the green had dying grass. But the fairways were generally ok.

We only played the first 9 holes and did not try the back nine. Maybe we'll that the next trip. Oh yeah...the green fees was a flat RM50 with trolley included. No buggys available here.

I love the 2nd and 3rd hole where you tee off from higher than ground level next to the sea.

No driving range facility, only putting green which can do pitching as well. Just like UNITEN GC,only much flatter and less maintenance. Overall it just a practise course..good for beginners and mid handicapper who have tight budget on weekends.

There's no caddie there as far as I'm concerned.
There's a another hidden 9 holes, exclusively for Guthrie staff. That's what I heard.
You may try your luck to get a chance to play the hidden 9 holes.

I just played there yesterday. Fuiyoh.... tiring man. No Caddie, No Buggy and rains make the pulling of trolley more heavy. Its a good training ground but you need to be fit enough to finish the whole 18holes.
