Dear Guys,
I am keen to find out a bit more on the device or similar devices. Appreciate if those in the know can respond and share.
1. May I know whether this can be used during play?
2. If so, how does it record usage of the different clubs?
3. Do you say start by putting it on a driver? Does it register the practice swing? Or can you set it such that it only records the actual swing?
4. After the driver swing and hit. Are you able to record on the device that the swing was from a driver.
5. Moving on to the next hit, if it is a 7 iron, after fitting it on the 7 iron. You then proceed to hit after the practice swing recording the actual hit. Can you then register that it was on a 7 iron hit?
6. And so on till you finish your 18 holes and then analyse your game? Hole 1 driver - how it was, 2nd shot 7 iron - how it was? and so on and so on?
Thank you for your kind assistance.

By the way, there was someone who posted whether there was interest in such devices for rental at driving ranges. Has this been implemented? Which driving range has these devices? How much is the rental?

I do note that it would be easier to manage if used at the driving range but wonder whether you can use this on the course to analyse your 18 hole game and what happens to your swing as you change clubs and as you play including the impact of tiredness and concentration.

cheers
syed

Bro this device is to help you train. Yes you can bring it to the course but it's not meant to be used during play.

The device that you are looking for is called 'game golf' search under YouTube for review. I have a friend using it to track club distance and game stats during play. It's quite expensive, not available here. You have to order from States. He got it from eBay .

I'm a swingbyte 2.0 user..

I know kota damansara range has flightscope and other radar tracker for you to gather your swing stats. I believe it's available during night or you can set appointment I guess. It's hitting down to the range which I feel a good thing.

I used to test my swing at monterez range. RM100/hour but now rsh tapau already. Close shop. They use flightscope.

You can achieve similar results with phoneapp llike golfshot. But more cumbersome. I'm using it. It ttakes a bit more discipline.
