I have seen wedges ... and plenty of covers...

Thats why I prefer caddies but some caddies also just there for the sake of it.. dont really take care the clubs. Most common probably head covers.. fell off from buggy. More common these days are iron covers, not just woods as people more keen to keep their irons looking good. If one missing I wonder people will change the whole iron cover set? Thats why I dont have iron covers! I do have for my hybrid, woods and putter.

I almost lost my SW a couple of times. Walking towards the green I bring the SW and the putter. After putting I usually forget to pick-up the SW. SInce those near misses, I just drop the clubs on the path going to the cart, so I will definitely see them while I walk over after finishing the hole.

Yes, I've seen covers being left behind in the tee box and carts. I hand them back to the staff. Ive got iron covers but they are the el-cheapo ones so I dont mind if they get lost.

Ive also put a name label on all my clubs, such that in the unfortunate event that I accidentally lose one, a fellow golfer (hopefully an honest chap) can return it.

The worse thing is losing your equipment to caddies who steal them. Anybody here had the same experience and where did happen? Just to serve as warning to us next time to be more cautious or bring set of older clubs.

I have a practice to eliminate myself losing things in previous hole, especially putting green area.

Everytime if I bring my wedge and putter to the green, I will ensure my wedge is lying on the green instead of fringe area( Of cos, i don't damage the green).

As such, it always visible to me before I am leaving the green. I also will scan around to ensure my buddy has nothing left behind.

some headcover is easily drop while riding on the buggy. for that reason, either you gotta change your headcover to other type, or maybe take them off.

I make a conscious effort to leave my wedge on green's edge BETWEEN the hole and my buggy. That way, the wedge will be in my line of sight as I walk to the buggy after finishing my putt.

Having said, I have misplaced my wedge more than once, but gentlemen golfers from flight behind always successfully reunite me with my wedge. Laughing

I think I donated at least 2 dozens of wiping cloth... Everytime left somewhere near the putting green or fairway. No point using those fancy cloths... I now took rugs from my wife and cut them down to pieces... That save me lotsa $$$ LOL

I loss a SW and a AW from my iron set and 2 56 wedges. One time, I remembered exactly where I left them which was beside the green side bunker. Went back to get it back and it wasn't there anymore. There were only one other flight behind us and when asked whether they saw my wedge, well you know what was the answer.

I have picked up a few wedges over the years from golfers in the flight ahead of us.

Left my 5 iron Sad playing at Sutera Habour, kk but was pleasantly surprised to find it back at the club house. Some kind soul found it and passed it to the staff.
