Hi y'all
Desperately wanting to start playing.
I started my first lessons 5 years ago n didn't get to complete d course as my golfer's elbow abruptly put me out of action until recently. I've just resumed my lessons n on an intensive 5-week (10 hours) program to finish by d end of d month.
You'll find me at Tropicana driving range twice a week n Guthrie n Glenmarie everyday.
After my "graduation" from d green at d end of d month, I look forward to playing a few times a week on weekday mornings as I hope to combine travelling with golf soon as I can. M'sia n SEA r really a golfing paradise.
If you're on a similar path n would like to train together, please do drop a note.

Your daily schedules @ Glenmarie and combined with Tropicana sounds you'd missed the whole loads of golf Smile

Welcome back to the game & warm welcome here.

Thanks bro pojie. I'm desperately making up for lost time!

I was at Tropicana this afternoon n the pro's there was an intimidating sight.. M'sian amateur ladies champ etc. The marshalls didn't help by advising me that I'd be better off playing at bukit Utama first before I'm good enough for Trops. Hence the daily practice

Welcome! I'm also an addict of golf, played for almost a year now and yet to get my handicap.

Never had any lessons but simply enjoy improving and learning through playing XD

Thanks Wai2kit.
Haugi, I'm not a " bro", I'm a "sis" haha

So far I've only been practising at d driving range. Wil be glad to share what I've learnt from my pro coach but I think d instructions r quite subjective n may be tailored for d individual, u don't want to take others' tips n mess up your game.

See u at Guthrie 1 of these days. It's in bukit jelutong. RM5 for 50 balls, RM10 for 150.

Opps...Sorry Sis Embarassed

haha...thanks for the advice...RM10 for 150balls is so cheap. Maybe I wanted to try the range there already.. cause Monterez closed early today... cant play a round already... Sad

Thank u KH.

Noticed no one here reveals full name unless it's in your username.

Hope to meet some of u in d not too distant future. I'm learning golf alone n my friends r not into golf, so I hope I don't give up halfway from lack of golfing mates. As it is, d learning part is already so demoralising. Drop out rate is understandably high.

Thanks Chenseon, very kind of u.
When I have "graduated" from d green I'm sure I'll need to look up flight mates from here. Meanwhile it's driving range n drills for now.
