To all the pro bro, am currently using my Sandwedge to handle all distance bellow 100m from green, and having difficulties to judge whether full swing, half swing or quarter swing, and some bro asked me to place the ball more to right foot if want shorter distance bla bla bla, am kind of confuse..........

Lately came across some article about the use of 52' and 60' wedge, and AW and I got even more confuse.....

This morning, went to Bukit Jalil driving range, they have netting on 30m, 50m and 70m, thought that's the best time for me to try my skill, but result very disappointed, looks like my Sandwedge can only bring me closer to green instead of landing at right spot.

Can someone tell me in general, what sort of distance or purpose of these wedges? If need to, I may want to get a wedge to compliment my existing Sandwedge instead of stick to one. Kam Sia, Kam Sia..........

Short answer is YES, it's much easier to have a couple of distances dialled in from having different clubs rather than trying to execute a 64% swing one time and then a 71% swing the next time. But there's only so many clubs, so the next best thing is to have a bunch of clubs and a few swings.

Go get this book Short Game Bible by Dave Pelz. http://www.amazon.com/Dave-Pelzs-Short-Game-Bible/dp/0767903447

I only play 'by feel' for shots under 25m.

While you're at it, get his Putting Bible and Damage Control books as well. For putting you can also check out videos by Geoff Mangum or try to google Aimpoint.

Ya, that's what I'm thinking, just limit to full and half swing, but 2 wedge (a sand wedge + another one, maybe AW), then I will have 4 comfortible distances to play with.....
