Hi guru guru, am currently looking at Cobra irons set, and quite like the irons set, but where can we find Cobra irons? Don't think MST carry this brand.

By the way, is AMP better or S3 (not Samsung please) Very Happy

Any one tried these irons?

Don't think it's S3 pro, I fond in online store at around Rm1800, but I wish to try before purchase, called up MST, but they don't carry this set any more, recommended me the APM, but kind of prefer the look of S3, just wanna test before decide.

I'm using s3, it is last year's model. Looks wise it is almost identical to Burner 2.0. I got mine at RGT when they have discounts on the set. It was best investment.. It looks good, the gun metal dark finish hides the bulk very nicely. I'm a high handicapper (100-104) and it's good for my game. Easy to flight the ball. Also very forgiving. You can feel your miss hits (toe) and yet the ball still fly and most of the time straight up. Only thing is the iron numbers are mark at the tip of the toe. AMP improved that from feedbacks. Overall very satisfied. Never tried hitting AMP but 'feel' it at the shops. I like s3 better. Mine is 4-P.

Thanks azri, you are the first person who share with me S3's experience as a user. I'm also a high handicapper, still struggle to break 100, I know I can't blame all to clubs but I just feel the current Nike set is just lack of good handling feeling, thus wish to get a better set and hopefully making a change to my score.

Hahahahah, looks like we both look at the same site, the RM1,800 is quoted in their website. Btw, you meant I can try? Thought they only deal with online selling?

(dun say i tell, LOL!)... they actually quite friendly to dealing with!

haha! honestly, i do not hav any professional knowledge to study and justified their material, from wut the Cobra advertisement, AMP stand for Advance Material Placement! so, i think its should be! haha....

Base on some review i read before, many of user saying that Cobra actually a under rated product! the reason im looking to Cobra is... 1. Forgiving 2. sound and feel is good for me 3. Less ppl use (look a bit special!) 4. nice design!

currently im using the Cobra Amp driver (u.s spec regular), very forgiving for me, when swing well, distance can reached 240meter... when bad... at least 190.... haha.... oh ya! i am a VERY VERY HIGH HANDICAPPER! haha....

For casting iron, performance for majority iron almost the same, the only different maybe is jus forgiving, and personal feel... Unless u upgrading to Forged iron, then can see bigger different. i mean the club head. for me, more important to concern is to choose the right shaft flex for u! graphite or steel, stiff or regular.... Wink nowadays technology, i think shouldn't be bad....

above all jus my very personal comment, once again, im a very high handicapper, dun believe so much! haha...
