I thought some foreigners bought over the land.
The golf course is no more in operation. Land bought over by some big developer ans the course closed many months back. Used to manage by some Korean n taking many Korean in as golf holidays. Now all of them moved to Utopia GC lembah beringin .

Utopia is the new name for SSG Lembah beringin.... is the same club. Just full of Korean and the fairway is very soggy after raining. The green is consider very good.

Utopia is one of famous turkish spa at Bangkok, at first i saw the word of Utopia Golf Club, just imaging if come with special turkish massage package with golf then is heaven place !!!

Ah, such a pity. It seems quite a few courses around us have closed, some of these had really interesting layouts. We golfers not giving them enough support? With lesser choices looks like green fees are going up as well?

Yes quite a pity
This course had some well designed memorable holes.
But trend now seems a lot of golf courses have gone and closed shop and seems some more likely in future.
Whether it's just unsustainable or mismanagement or needed some marketing tweaks we'll never know.
But consequences are prices going north but quality still room for improvement and packed courses and unavailability of tee times now the norm.
