Here are some pics that i snapped while i was at the store. The size of the packaging is huge, i had to take it out from the box and just managed to squeeze it in to the rear seats of my car. Would be great if you have a pickup truck / 4X4 on hand when purchasing. It comes in a black cover/casing for storage.

These practice nets are good for the following:-
1) cost saving - you can save alot of money (will tell u d reason, below)
2) convenient - practice anytime you want
3) very good for getting your swing, hands and body synchronization
4) can improve swing tempo
5) will improve all d basics that u need to have a good ball strike...stands, body & hands co-ordinations

I have noticed, driving range goers, just wack and wack the balls without having any plans or ideas what they are doing..no proper basic setups and all that...
With these nets, u can practice your bascis at home, and at d driving range, u can concentrate practicing ur accuracy and club distance...saving money again.. Very Happy Very Happy

Aaron, I am quite agreed with your comments, it does help at some point, for you to pickup the basic stance, ball setup.

if you are under-going some golf lessons/coaching, basically your coach should be able to tell you what you should practise when you are not hitting at driving range to view your flight.

some basic practises that your pickup when you are practise at home:

1. ensure your stance is stable. you must feel that your midfeet is sticking the ground. not the fore or rear
2. your stance must be square, from the feet, knee, buck, body and shoulder.
3. start exercise your back swing slowly, from quarter swing, half swing, 3/4 swing to full swing.
4. check again your stance when you are 3/4 swing and full swing, ensure your stance still stable.

hope it helps

bro suicidal, the net setup doesn't look secure to me. I guess you need to stand very close to the net for hitting. tell me more about it.

Have used it over the weekend, its quite big actually once you set it up. Don't have actual measurements but the height should be around 8 feet and the width about 6 feet.

Only used my irons and so far no problem with the net holding up.

Its easy to set up, but i had difficulty packing it up again so for now its a permanent fixture in my back yard.

Cool,
I have tried something similar called the GSA PRO once. It showed my swing as very close to the perfect swing plane , which is no way possible at this point, so i didnt bother to get it Smile

I tried out the GSA pro at City Golf, bangsar shopping complex. You can check their golf shop there whether they do have any stock or not.

Alternatively you can try these singaporean guys http://www.thelearningtee.com/

They ship to malaysia.

Bro, i manage to get a net and now it is sitting in my house.
Just wondering, what mat are you using to place the ball?

Been to MST to check on their mat but they are selling it for like 1.7k i think.
The same mat that you find in driving range.

Any suggestions what mat i can use?
