everything is temporary.
when things are going good,
enjoy it, for it won't last forever.
When things are going bad,
don't worry, for it won't last forever either!

So when you are happy,
don't be too happy.
And when you are sad,
don't be too sad.
For happiness and sadness will
only be temporary!

Don't give too much s**t to this - middle path or not or whatever.
This is probably just rubbing it in further.
Kena kau kau at home course - my golf sucks - not gonna bang against the wall any more - just accept it - the master is the master - 2-2, 3-3, 4-4 don't be thick kee just acknowledge he's the one.

Got slight excuse now - injury a bit
Coming down with a bit of tennis elbow - left elbow - so no power now
3rd shot into Par 4 also hit hybrid! Better play white tees now also I think
Google some exercise to do and will put some ice packs see if can recover sooner.

Ivan, for it to heal completely, you will need to lay off for quite sometime. If you still need to play, then wear the elbow guard (the velcro adjustable type).

Been trying ice treatment for awhile now - put some 1.5L mineral water bottles with water in the freezer and use them to press against my elbow for about 5 minutes while watching TV every evening - actually the smaller 500ml bottle would be better as less heavier.
Yesterday went to the pharmacist and bought some Voltaron 50mg which I took to treat my right elbow last time.
Still can feel some pain but power seems to be coming back and today back at the Hills course at least drives were a decent distance at a short course and hitting some irons in and not hybrids for all 2nd shots on Par 4's.
Hitting mid and short irons approach am able to target a few greens and started - birdie, birdie, Par, Bogey - wow - then messed up the next played double after short approach with SW ended in bunker, par the next a short Par 3, then messed up the next two holes with another double followed by a triple but made my 3rd birdie on the 9th for an outward 41 but did not do too well on the 2nd Nine with an OB and a 3-putt for an inward 46.
My handicap already transferred to KRPM and officially playing 18 so well under.
But no way can play against the "On-Off".

Ivan,
Sorry to read of your elbow problem and self-treatment. Guess if you'd gone to the doctor, he'd tell you to rest totally with no golf until recovery. And that'd be even more painful to bear. Wish you a speedy recovery before Surabaya trip.

I myself have been having this persistent nagging left knee discomfort for the past 8 months.. At this age, recovery rate is really slow. I go to my acupunture doctor sometimes, and to my Thai masseur occasionally.

Anyway, your golf seems like coming back. Wow 3 birdies in a round, Luckily, i wasn't there to be slaughtered!!!! Laughing
