Bro, It look like a smooth swing but I am sorry that I am not good enough to comment about your swing as I am not a coach and not to mention I am still have some problem with my driver swing.

As far as I am concern, you hit your ball where you want it to go .... it is a good swing !

Maybe Bro Lee and other can give their comments. All I can say is:

- It is always good to go through your routine even you are on a driving range with every ball you going to hit. Example; go behind your ball, pick a target even it is wide fairway in front, pick a line maybe 12 " front of your ball, walk to the ball and put your club face square with the line with both leg close together, check you grip, open your leg to adjust the ball position, feet, shoulder parallel to target line .. etc

Laughing

Maybe only 1 comment. You appear to lift your right knee during your back swing. If so, you might lose power and also your body might raise upward but what the hell ! You did hit the ball where you wanted didn't you ?

Bro,

I think it is most like straight - fade rather then slice ( see below ). If you can drive 260 yards, it is about 237 meter than you do not need my comment as I cannot even drive at that distance ....If so, how can I comment about your swing ? ...

I finally got myself a professional coach when I return to Singapore last week. My 1st lesson is about 4 hours because I could only see him once a month when I return to Singapore. He is Master level from Asia Golf teachers federation ( I do not want to mention name over the internet). I have no doubt that he is good after only spending only the 1st hour with him.

I bought the whole program that will help me to break 90 consistency. It cost me a "bomb". It is very expensive indeed but I believe, if "hole in one" cannot be bought. I am sure playing consistence well would be the same.

I was told that his coaching & teaching method were very different from other. He invented his own method that we do not usually found or read through book, magazine or video. It was very truth indeed.

He had found number of mistakes in my swing within the 1 hours and it was fixed within 5 to 10 minutes. I did not tell him of my left pull shot problem in my driver as I do not want to interrupt on how he going to coach me.

I do not know whether it is mental or confidence level. I was back in the driving range in Surabaya today. I found that my swing was much smoother then before. I am not hitting as hard as I use to be but still get my distance. My driver today tend to be more fade toward to target .. I feel good, this is something that money cannot buy ...

I still remember that I told him during the lesson that I am not swinging as hard as I use to be. He says " No, you are swinging as hard as you use to be. You do not feel it because you are using the correct method now compare to as before "

I know I have many more lesson to go and have many more hard works to try to achieve what I want to achieve. I hope one day I can share my joy with you all bro here. Smile

Hi guys,

Finally I brought myself an inexpensive small camera (Casio EXilim EX-FH100) that can take slow motion shots. It is not as good as like what bro Lee used but I hope you still can see my swing. Please be patience with my shots as it is in a very slow motion mode ...

Haaaaa. This is really going to be very embarrassing. This is the 1st time I ever see myself in my swing. Although I think I hit the ball well but I sure look very funny when I watch it .. Something is really wrong with my swing .. I seems to be standing far away from the ball but I cannot hit the ball if I stand close ( maybe it is bad habit I picked up somewhere along my learning ) ... I seems also like losing control on my swing ... This is going to be fun heeeeee

Okay guys ... please do not be shame and just give it to me. I appreciate all comments ( good or bad ) .. Just shoot, ok ?

Ironman, I hope you are around too to give me your comments.

Good to finally see your swing video. And great to hear you bought the Casio FH100. Good for slow motion shots.

Our swing is never what we feel it is. That's why it's so revealing to see it from a video.

Yes, you are standing away from the ball.

Not really but I saw my own swing on video was 1-1/2 years ago, when a friend took them but the swing back than was so much different.

I do not know where I feel I lost control but is there a words "over swing". If you see my finishing, my chest is not facing directly at the target .. I feel that I am turning and turning like there is no tomorrow .. maybe mentally, I am thinking in doing so, my ball will go further ... See my right leg at the finish position .. the toe is not pointed upright but was turned like my body ... Is this correct ?

Thanks, yes I realized my standing is rather far from the ball when I saw the video. My feet open rather wide too, maybe because I am standing further away from my ball, I need to widen my feet to keep balance.

I will try to see whether I can change and still drive the ball solid with nearer and narrow stand position. My concern is, if what I am doing is incorrect than I might not able to improve my swing further.

Anything else you saw in my swing that was funny or incorrect ?

I have not show this video swings to my coach yet as I do not see him not for another 2 weeks when I return to Singapore. I hope he will not faint when he see it Shocked
