Hi

What's the opinion on this? From YouTube seems to be favorable. Except some hesitation on the higher lofted clubs...
Anyone tried one? Saw the ones from cobra selling in rgt... Not cheap...

But kinda intrigued. The one from Tom Wishon seems better looking than the cobra.

I am also curious about the one length irons, the longer irons in particular. Won't be surprised though if I hit the those longer irons better then my current one.

I tried the Cobra one length during last week Golf Day @tpc. I was hitting the low irons good but the long ones (5 iron) bad... Like duff it or weak. The cobra guy said every iron need to be swung as a 7 iron - cos all uses same shaft step. So I put on easy swing and voila - consistency!

I did saw yardage gap P vs 7 vs 5...but not sure whether the gap is well spaced.

The forged has good feel but the cast one is easier to use. However looks wise I still prefer the Sterling (from Tom Wishon).

Not sure now if wanna take a plunge...

So curiosity got better of me and I splash it on Sterling Wishon Single length..

I got it since mid July and been playing for more or less 5 rounds.. And 1 tournament..

I bought of ebay for an almost new set. Regular wishon s2s shaft.. 5 to P. I later do lie angle fitting and change of grip once I got it.

So what's the verdict? - Legit!

Easy to hit as everything is same length (about 8 iron length). Previous set was vrs forged (nike).. I can't hit the 5 iron and been using Adam dhy pro interchangeably with cobra baffler T rail hybrid... But now I'm quite comfortable with the sterling 5 iron. Score has improved as my left right misses is minimized but distance is short some times... Punch or low runner with 5 iron is the best.. Easy to control so from someone like me more versatility for 5 iron.

Now for the cons... The lower irons goes high especially P... The long ones 5 irons quite low. I think spin also low for 5 iron - though I never got to measure. However P going to green from 100-110m like throwing darts.. Will hold green. 5 irons will roll off, unless I hit further down on a tee but then it became inconsistent (probably need more training).

The long irons have this tin/hybrid sound... Not bad actually..

Total investment less than rm3k... After lie angle and grip change.. If intend to buy new its going to be closer to rm4k..

At the moment I'm enjoying it, for someone that don't have much time to train definitely makes the game easier. Getting started needs a mental change as you still want to kill it with a short 5 iron.. After you let the club do it stuff then it gets easier.
