I'll get straight to the point. I'm trying to find funding for my son to compete in USKids Golf European Championship 2016 in East Lothian, Scotland.

I was hoping to try my luck here in the forum. Who knows a few nice members would be kind enough to support my son or who would be able to refer me to a generous sponsor(s).

I'm looking to raise around 20k from the total cost which is around 25k. Yea, the exchange rate sucks.

Ezekiel started to show interest in golf as soon as he learn how to walk. At 1.5 years old, he was already swinging toy clubs. By the age of 2.5 years old, I cut my old wood for him to hit. At the age of 3, I gave a real golf set for his birthday and there’s no stopping from there on. Below are the links to some of his videos:

People told me he has natural talent. I don’t really quite believe it at first, but after so many said the same, including Professionals, I started believing it. Now we need help to get him into the next level.


USKids Golf European Championship 2016
How did we receive the priority invitation to the USKids Golf European Championship 2016? He competed in the Kids Golf World Championship Malaysia 2015 playing the under 7 category at the age of 6 YO. He finished 7th in that competition and was 2nd best 6 yo in the field (by only 1 shot). Based on that performance we receive priority invite to the USKids Golf European Championship 2016.

Ezekiel now practices 6 days a week, 2-3 hours a day on average and sometimes more.

My target is for him in the European Championship is to finish in the Top 10, but his target is to WIN the competition. Let’s see how much is he ahead or behind other internationals.

The cost of participating at international level is almost the same regardless of the sports the kid plays and personally, at the moment, i can't afford it. but i will not surrender until i have exhausted all possible efforts within the time.

Update: Ezekiel's golf competition season starts this week @monterez

If he has to play in under 8, the target is champion. If he has to play in under 10, we target top 5.

Day 1 update: leading by 16...

Day 2: winner by 34 shots.

Still good enuff for 3rd placing if playing in under 10 category cuz both categories tee from same tee box

he also won JB, by 12 shots... and again the result was good enuff for a tied 3rd in U10 category

So far, we received RM 10.9k from private individuals. We have bought flight tickets.
