Firstly, it's not called "in the green". The greens are the putting areas / the short grass areas with the hole in it. I would suggest that you play with your pros a few more times, and get familiar with the game etiquette.

There's plenty of info online talking about how to play the game, the etiquette, play without delay, taking care of the course, all for free. Pros should also teach this on the course, not only work on the swings.
